Increase your cutting efficiency. UC Series High-Precision automated plasma cutting power sources offer unprecedented profitability and performance. UC Series systems achieve outstanding cut quality with narrow kerf widths and a smooth cut surface. Integrated control of torch consumables, gas flow and cutting parameters result in cut quality range 3° or better (according to ISO 9013).

Plasma power supplies are available with 130 – 800A cutting power for cut thicknesses up to 160mm and integrate easily with cutting tables and bevel cutting & robotic solutions. Dedicated process technologies for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum cutting ensure consistent, high quality results at fast cut speeds.

Thermal Dynamics Ultra-Cut 600XT and 800XT

Ultra-Cut 601XT and 801XT Enhance Cutting Capacity up to 160mm

Thermal Dynamics’ new 601A and 801A Ultra-Cut XT systems are equipped for production cutting up to 160 mm on stainless steel and aluminium. With the increased cutting power and higher cutting speeds on thinner plates, these systems deliver greater productivity and lower cutting cost.

These systems comprise 2 Ultra-Cut 301XT or 401XT power sources running in parallel to double cutting output. Dedicated consumbales for high-amperage cutting ensure High-Precision cut quality at the best possible cut speeds.

Ultra-Cut 601XT systems offer 600A output with a 100 mm cut capacity.

Ultra-Cut 801XT systems offer 800A output with a 160 mm cut capacity.

Target applications include fabricators and steel services centres cutting sections of stainless steel and aluminium material up to 160 mm in the power generation, pressure vessel, chemical and petrochemical processing industries. Users of 600- and 800-amp systems primarily want faster cutting speeds on non-ferrous metals from 50 mm to 100 mm. E.g., the Ultra-Cut 601XT can cut 75 mm stainless steel at 330 mm/minute.

1 or 2 Torch Operation

An optional switch is available that allows you to rapidly change between 1- and 2-torch operation, giving you the flexibility to cut with either a single torch at up to 600 or 800A, or 2 torches at 300 or 400A.

Putting two plasma torches on the same gantry to cut identical shapes is a common strategy to increase productivity in high-volume applications. Fabricators can double output to cut thicker materials or increase cutting, simply by switching torch consumables. With the quick-change XT-Torch consumables cartridge, users can change consumables in less than 30 seconds.
